Joyce was born with a spiritual veil or caul over her head and it was predicted at her birth that she would be a psychic child. She was clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient, intuitive, a medium and possessed healing powers.

Joyce was a long time member of the Psychical Research Society of Kansas City and  served on several committees including the P.R.S. Predictions Panel for over 10 years with many documented, accurate predictions. She was the 2nd person to receive the prestigious P.R.S. Reader's Hall of Fame Award. She received the P.R.S. Psychic Fair "2001" Reader of the Year and the P.R.S. Silver Star Award for 25+ years of dedicated service.

Joyce worked for 20 years with the police departments on murder cases and missing persons with a high degree of success. She appeared on several episodes of Psychic Detectives and many other television programs.

Joyce was a member of Miller's Paranormal Research for 7 years, giving psychic readings of properties and home clearings. Her contributions to the team will be greatly  missed.
