STINGY JACK
by: R. Scott Taylor
|
In seven days, professional thief Adam Beesler will meet an alluring lady, deal with a brash partner, encounter a dead irishman, and face the Devil himself. That is, if he survives..... Stingy Jack is two tales: one of Adam's goal of a multi-million dollar jewel heist, the other a gripping tale of 17th century Ireland as told by a spectral rogue named Jack O'Keefe. Ancient Celtic fables come alive, leaving Adam pondering what significance they hold with his own story. Now, if only the young thief can stay safe as he unravels the mystery.

Brenda: Quite a different type of ghost story and one that capitalizes on Mr. Taylor's ability to "spin a tale." I really enjoyed the character of Jack and found him to be quite charming despite his deceitful ways. A good read. Dee Ann: Reading in progress
